Madonna’s new boy Toy is her 25-year-old Back-up dancer! See Pictures

Published

on

This past Friday, 61-year-old Madonna was spotted in casual wear enjoying the view off of the balcony of a luxurious hotel in Miami, Florida. She was not enjoying the beautiful scenery, alone.

Madonna & Ahlamalik Williams

The Queen of Pop was accompanied by one of her male back-up dancers, Ahlamalik Williams. The old adage that “A picture is worth a thousand words” proves to be true, for anyone looking at the two can tell that there is something more going on than just an innocent friendship. Ahlamalik holds Madonna around her waist while Madonna comfortably leans on him. The pop sensation appears to be happy and relaxed in the newly released photos

Lourdes looks on

Later on, Madonna’s eldest daughter, Lourdes Leon, emerged onto the balcony. The 23-year-old model also had a man accompanying her (whose name is not known at the time). There is no doubt that the ‘mystery man’ is her boyfriend.

Lourdes and her Boyfriend.

Soon enough, the cougar and her cub were basically having an informal double date on the balcony. Both males were embracing their female counterparts throughout their time on the balcony. Williams was even seen giving Madonna a massage, as Lourdes looked on.

Obviously, age is nothing but a number to many people; that includes one other than the pop star Madonna. There is a 35-year age gap between the songstress and the back-up dancer.

Female Rapper Cardi B assumes the name of “Chioma B” while in Nigeria

Published

Cardi B’s first live performance in Africa – Lagos, Nigeria

Grammy award-winning rap artist, Cardi B, made her way to Nigeria’s largest, beloved city, Lagos, this past Thursday. Cardi displayed immense excitement for the trip to the Motherland through her most recent Instagram posts. She is set to perform twice in the same week to headline the Livespot X Festival. Her first performance has taken place several hours ago in Lagos, Nigeria, while the second performance will take place this upcoming Saturday in the heart of Ghana, Accra. The American rap artist will be taking the stage by storm with Nigerian artists such as afrobeat sensation, Davido, Hip-hop artist, Tiwa Savage, and singers Olamide, and Burna Boy.

On her way to West Africa in her privet jet, Cardi was twerking to Davido’s “Fall”. To everyone’s greatest surprise, Cardi B suddenly came on the track. Apparently, this is a remix that has been in the works for some time, but has not been officially released. The icing on the cake comes later on on that very same day when the “Press” singer released a story on Instagram where she declared that she is now “Chioma B”. The funny aspect of it is that this happens to be the name of Davido’s soon-to be wife, Chioma Rowland.

Cardi B Holds Special Meet-and-greet in Lagos, Nigeria

Cardi, or rather, “Chioma”, has further expressed interest to bask in the ambience of the Nigerian culture through working the traditional ensemble at her meet-and-greet, and barely containing her eagerness to try popular Nigerian dishes such as jellof rice and fish. The female rap artist tells her followers “I want to see like the real Nigeria, I don’t want to eat hotel food, I want like real Nigerian food – ALL that fish, ALL that jellof rice – all that, all that.” as she shows the beautiful view from her hotel room. In the very same video, she proceeds to state her desires, singing “Take me to the hooood, take me as I should, I want to goooo hang with some hooo, where are the thuug? mmm mmm mmm mmmm”. Well, best believe that the “Bodak Yellow” artist did just that later on that day.

For those who know Cardi B, it is not a surprise that one of the first places she had hit up in Nigeria not so long after her arrival was a strip club. The VIP star of the night was thoroughly enjoying herself, not holding back when it came to showering the dancers/strippers with Naira, the currency of Nigeria. “Chioma B” was definitely getting herself amped-up for her two upcoming live shows in Nigeria just as much as she was getting herself amped-up for new experiences.

on

2019 AMA Program Transcript

  • Selena Gomez kicks off the American Music Awards right away. Gomez initially performs her number one song “Lose you to love me”, and then transitions to singing “Look at her now” – the same order in which the songs were released.

– A lot of people caught onto the fact that Selena was singing off-key during her “Lose You to Love Me” performance. This is more than likely due to the fact that she had suffered from a ‘panic attack’ not so long before coming on stage to headline the AMA’s. In addition, Billboard has released a public statement that revealed that technical difficulties took place during Gomez’s performance. Selena finds herself in time to finish off the performance on a high note.

  • Ciara executes yet another ground breaking performance – as the host this time around. Ciara’s performance is a body pumping anthem. Cici takes it down with her energy and her stellar dance moves alongside a group of adults, and later, a group of talented children. La La Anthony and Ester Dean performed on stage with the “Body Party” singer.
  • The young Billie Eilish wins an AMA for Best Alternative Rock Artist, trumping well-known and loved pop rock groups such as Imagine Dragons, and Panic! at the Disco.
  • Afterwards, Ciara’s two adorable little children speak live on the AMA’s to confirm that their mama is doing a good job so far.
  • Hasley wins an AMA for best pop rock song “Without Me”.
  • Lizzo performs her latest single “Jerome”.
  • Country singer and songwriter, Thomas Rhett, performs his sweet song “Look What God Gave Her”.
  • Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello performed their #1 hit “Señorita”. Midst their performance, audience members such the Artist of the Decade (Taylor Swift) were left practically speechless due to the duo’s chemistry that reflected on stage.
  • Succeeding Mendes’ and Cabello’s performance, Taylor Swift received an AMA for best pop rock album with her standout song, “Lover”.
  • Kesha and Big Freedia perform “Raising Hell”. The performance is bright, energetic and well choreographed. The audience is left up on their feet dancing to the unique, powerful song.

Thereafter, Kesha takes everyone back a decade through performing her 2009 hit song “Tik Tok”.

  • Paula Abdul introduces the next performer, Toni Braxton. Abdul mentions that it was exactly 25 years ago where Braxton had won her first music award at the AMA’s (for Adult Contemporary New Artist). She performed one of her greatest songs, “Unbreak My Heart”. Toni Braxton delivered a crisp, natural, passionate performance with her unwavering, powerful voice that shook the whole crowd.

Not so long after her powerhouse performance, Braxton tweets a shoutout to the American Music Awards, exclaiming “Great to be home #AMAs”.

  • Country Album AMA is awarded to Carrie Underwood for “Cry Pretty”. This is Underwood’s 14th American Music Award win. The presenter simultaneously awarded Carrie Underwood with an AMA for the best female country artist award, which was another great surprise to Carrie.
  • Billie Eilish performs one of her songs, which is called “All the good girls go to Hell”. Eilish serves the audience with a fiery performance (yes, pun intended), and the audiences feeds off the energy of her performance.
  • The Collaboration of the Year AMA goes to the latest power couple, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, with their romantic single “Señorita”.
  • New Artist of the Year Award is clinched by the soon-to-be 18-year-old, Billie Eilish. This same adolescent pushed past fellow nominees like Luke Combs, Lil Nas X, Lizzo and Ella Mai for the win. This is surely Billie Ellish’s year. Within minutes, Eilish officially becomes a two-time AMA winner.
  • Hasley performs her newest hit song, “Graveyard”. Despite the title of the song, Hasley’s performance was nothing but colors.
  • Following Hasley’s performace, two-time AMA winner Billie Eilish is given the honors of introducing the next performance of the night: The Green Day performs one of their best songs, “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”.
  • Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Album goes to back to back Billboard Hot 100 chart topper, Post Malone.
  • Camila Cabello is brought back out to perform… solo this time. She sings one of her newest songs “Living Proof”.
  • Jonas Brothers perform their hit “Only Human” live from Boston.

  • The AMA’s delves back into Taylor Swifts incredible history as a musical artist. After they acknowledge Swift as the Artist of the Decade and the person to have clinched the most AMA’s ever, Taylor Swift Performs throw-back songs like “Love Story”, followed by “I Knew You Were Trouble”, “Blank Space”, and “Shake it Off”. Taylor ended her great music performance with one of her most recent, loved songs, “Lover”. After the performance, the Artist of the Decade award was finally handed over to Taylor Swift by the living legend, Carole King.

Taylor Swift takes her time to express how important Carole King’s contribution as an artist was to her and her family. Additionally, she expressed her gratitude to her fans, supporters, and her current recording label.

  • After the break, rapper Meghan the Stallion announces that Lil Nas X and Billy Ray’s song “Old Town Road” has won the AMA for the Hip-Hop song of the year.
  • Christina Aguilera performs the heartfelt song “Fall on Me” with the Great Big World.
  • Post Malone performs “Circles”. Afterwards, Ozzy Osbourne and Travis Scott emerge on stage to join Malone, and perform their song “Take What You Want”. This is yet another intense, fiery performance of the night.
  • Dua Lipa performs her feel-good song “Don’t Stop Now”.
  • Favorite Country Song AMA is awarded to the duo Dan + Shay for “Speechless”.
  • The most prestigious award (as described by Regina King); the Artist of the Year award, is awarded to no one other than the multi-time, record-breaking AMA winner, Taylor Swift.
  • Shania Twain performs and closes out the 2019 American Music Awards. She sings her own version of Post Malone’s “Rockstar”, 21 Pilots’ “Stressed Out”, Taylor Swift’s “Shake it off”, and Drake’s “God’s plan”. She converts to signing her own songs such as “You’re Still the One”, “Any Man of Mine”, “That Don’t Impress Me Much”, and “Man! I Feel Like A Woman”.

SUMMARY:

All in all, the 2019 American Music Awards was a night to remember in more ways than one. The musical artists all stood out in their own respective ways, whether it was through their wardrobe, their singing, their personalized choreography, and/or their individual speeches. Record-breaking history went down at the Los Angeles Microsoft Theater, for there were a lot of ‘firsts’, such as Ciara being the AMA’s first person to serve as a host, AND a performer in one shot, and Billie Eilish being one of the youngest artists of all time to earn a AMA not once, but TWICE in the same night. More firsts include Toni Braxton stepping foot in the AMA’s once again, since 25 years ago, when she took home her first AMA, followed by Shawn Mendez and Camila Cabello winning their first AMA, and Taylor Swift being declared not only as the “Artist of the Decade”, but the “Artist of the year” concurrently. On an ending note, one of the biggest things that people who tune into the American Music Awards can appreciate about a lot of the performers of the night is the fact that in addition to performing their latest songs (if applicable), they also implemented a few of the great hits that they have released in the past.

Top 10 on Billboard Charts: Nov.3 – Nov.10

Published

on

1.) Lose You to Love Me – Selena Gomez

Gomez revisits the events of her past relationship and sings about her rough journey overcoming heartbreak, and betrayal. The crisp video that accompanies the song displayed Selena’s anger, hurt and confusion during that point of her life. Shot by the latest version of the iPhone, the iPhone 11 Pro. This marks Gomez’s first number 1 track on the Billboard charts.

2.) Someone You Loved – Lewis Capaldi

Another song based off of fallen love. The character Capaldi portrays is someone who opened up and allowed themselves to be vulnerable, but yet, the partner suddenly “then…pulled the rug.”. At this point, the torn individual feels like he no longer has anyone to turn to for comfort, assurance, or a sense of security. Now, one has to become accustomed to navigating life on their own outside of a relationship. “Someone You Loved” officially marks Lewis Capaldi’s first song to reach the Billboard Top 100 Chart. Capaldi partnered up with the charity organization “Live life, Give Life” with intending to increase awareness for individuals in need of organ donations.

3.) Circles – Post Malone

Two individuals are tied up in a relationship that goes up and down. Every time they “run away” from one another, they somehow end up going back to one another. For one reason or the other, the individuals are drawn to each other, but apparently, not for all the right reasons. Malone allows his partner make the make the moves “…so I don’t take the blame.”. At the end of the day, Malone’s character knows inside his heart that the relationship has to come to an end once and for all before the relationship turns toxic. The “Better Now” artist premiered “Circles” in New York City during his Bud Light Drive Bar Tour.

4.) Senorita – Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello

Ever since they have started dating one another, singer-songwriters Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have been the talk of the town over the past few of months. “Senorita” outlines the blossoming of a romantic relationship. In the sweet yet steamy music video, the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” singers found themselves grossly intrigued by one another from the very moment they laid eyes on each other. As the saying goes, “From there, it was history.”. Both the song and the video that compliments it convey how they cannot resist one another, for no matter how hard either one of them try to deny it, they always find themselves craving and thinking about each other when they are apart. “Senorita” marks the first collaboration that Mendes and Cabello did as a couple. They preformed the song for the first time at the 2019 Video Music Awards.

5.) Truth Hurts – Lizzo

Not so long ago, “Truth Hurts” spent some time in the spotlight as number 1 on the Billboard 100. This song is about a woman realizing that the man she was with was “holding me back” when she was the one doing all the heavy-lifting in the relationship to ensure his well-being. Given the situation, the woman Lizzo portrays decides that she does not necessarily need to get married to be happy. In fact, Lizzo offers the man up to other girls who have been chasing after him. Nothing or anyone is worth being a “side chick”. It happens that Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” came out in 2017. The song did not get much attention until the track featured on Lizzo’s third studio album “Cuz I Love You”. “Truth Hurts” alone has lasted on the Billboard Top 100 Chart for 26 weeks.

6.) Good as Hell – Lizzo

An empowering song that encourages women not to spend time fretting over a relationship gone bad where “…he don’t love you anymore…”. Lizzo implies that women should not beg to stay in any relationship because at the end of the day, if the individual claims that they do not want you [anymore], it is their loss – life goes on. The music video shows that one of the best lasting remedies to a let-down is feeling good about yourself by looking good, treating yourself, embracing your self-worth and being surrounded by supportive friends. This is another song of Lizzo’s that had originally came out few years ago (2016), but did not gain popularity until after her performance at the 2019 Video Music Awards.

7.) Follow God – Kayne West

The “Stronger” artist is implementing some changes in his life to better himself. Over the past several years, a lot of people have known Kayne for “going off the rails” in terms of his personality and attitude. This time around, he is trying to cool down by embracing the Lord, and all of the opportunities and successes he has gained in life. “Follow God” also serves as a tribute to West’s father, for they have not always seen eye to eye, which severed their relationship. Based off of the lyrics, it appears as if Kayne did not greatly appreciate his father, nor listen to his words of wisdom. Well, that situation is totally different today.

At the end of the newly premiered music video, Kanye writes a message where he states “My dad came to visit me at one of our ranches in Cody, Wyoming. He talked about his love for fishing, and how he would like to come here in the summers. It took me 42 years to realize that my dad was my best friend. He asked me, “How many acres is this?” I told him 4000. He replied with these three words: “A black man?” “.

This message goes to show that no matter ones race or ethnicity, anything is achievable with determination, hard worth ethic, and talent. This song is the meat and potatoes of Kayne West’s new upcoming album, Jesus is King. “Follow God” becomes Kayne’s 18th track to be amongst the top 10 hits on the Hot 100.

8.) No Guidance – Chris Brown ft. Drake

Brown fans, Drake fans and “No Guidance” listeners alike would have likely did a double take from the very moment they came across the song. “Why surprised?” some may wonder… . Well, it all goes back to the bloody, physical altercation that transpired between Chris Brown, Drake, and their entourage at a night club in the year 2012. It is alleged that this viral, out-of-control brawl was over singer/songwriter, and now fashion designer, Rihanna.

Rihanna dated Chris Brown 2008-2009. After a serious 2009 domestic violence case between the “Look at Me Now” and “Man Down” singers, the two ended their relationship. By the time 2011 came, Rihanna began dating the Canadian singer/rapper, Drake. At the night club in 2012, it was stated that Chris Brown made the cordial gesture of sending a fine wine over to Drake’s table… only for Drake to reject the gesture, and pass over a note to Brown’s table that grossly flaunted the fact that he was sleeping with Rihanna at the time (despite the fact Brown had already had a new girlfriend). From there, a massive fight between the two broke out that also consisted of the throwing of glass bottles. A lot of people got horrifically injured due to being caught up in the crossfire of the brawl. A few individuals in the fight had to get stitches on the face and head.

The fact that Brown and the Canadian made a song together strongly indicates an olive branch was extended, and that therefore, both have settled their deep-seated issues. While the song itself praises ‘that special women’s’ qualities, the video “depicts a dance battle between Brown and Drake in which they resolve their beef – mirroring the ending of their real-life feud.”. – Billboard

9.) Panini – Lil Nas X

“Panini” has reached as high as number 5 on the Hot 100 chart. The “Old Town Road” signer also released a remix of this song with DaBaby a month afterward. The animated series on Cartoon Network, “Chowder” inspired the title of Lil Nas X’s song, for “Panini” is the name of a young female character who is crazy for the main character, Chowder. Throughout the less than 2-minute song, Lil Nas X conveys how someone who proclaims to love him suddenly starts to act cold and distant when he stumbles upon success. Disney channel star “Skai Jackson” stars in the official video.

10.) Bad Guy – Billie Eilish

17 year-old star Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell (formally known as Billie Eilish in the music world) has already taken the music industry by storm. She is a singer and songwriter with a very unique style that is captivating to watchers and listeners. “Bad Guy” is one of Eilish’s works that puts those qualities on full display. Eilish’s “Bad Guy” has been amongst the Hot 100 for a whopping 34 weeks! Not only that, but “Billie is the first person born in the new millennium to get a No.1 on the Hot 100.” according to Billboard. The video that accompanies the song has well over 624 million views. A few months after the release, Eilish got to release a remixed version of the song whom features her childhood idol, Justin Bieber. The young woman has already earned a MTV music award for the best new artist this year (2019).
